BoxCryptor proudly presents a new team member: Silvia!

Today we are very happy to inform you that Silvia has joined our team: 

Silvia is one of our newest members of the team and the first Latin American member adding some español y energía suramericana to the equation.  She is from Bogotá, Colombia, studied Marketing at UAB in the USA, and worked in advertising in Miami for more than 5 years for the Latin American & US markets before moving to Germany to study an MBA at WHU- Otto Beisheim School of Management (2010-2011). She is taking on the new challenge as the Head of Marketing in our team and she will have a special heart for possible projects with Latin America.

She has a passion for creativity and besides following what is new in the advertising world; she loves to go to the movies, paint, take pictures (hopes to take classes to become a professional photographer soon!) and get to see and learn new things whenever possible.

Two new interns joined the BoxCryptor team this month: Martin & Florian

The first one is Martin:

Martin is currently doing his masters degree in Business Information Systems at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg. He will support us with the desktop application of BoxCryptor.

When he’s not sitting in front of his computer at our office he likes to go out and meet friends and do sports especially cycling or climbing. If there’s some more free time he also likes to discover other countries especially the UK, France and the Scandinavian countries. 

Then there is Florian:

Florian is our focusing on customer support and android development. Besides spending every spare minute on the beachcourt of the University’s sports center, he is studying Computer Science and Multimedia in Augsburg. Being a passionated android user himself, he is excited to extend his programming skills to the android platform and to improve BoxCryptor for Android.
